Easter Seals Ontario
Since 1923, the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie has adopted Easter Seals and the over 160 children, youth and young adults in the area with physical disabilities as the club's primary charitable mandate. The club is in partnership with Easter Seals to present three of the Society's signature events in Sault Ste. Marie: The Easter Seals Telethon, Snowarama and Penny Power for Easter Seals Kids.

Snowarama for Easter Seals Kids
Originally called the "Whipper Watson Snowarama for Timmy," the first run was held in Sault Ste. Marie on February 2, 1975 with the St. Joseph Island Voyageurs as host snowmobile club. Successful from the first year, the Sault Ste. Marie ride has earned the distinction of being the top fundraising Snowarama in the province several times.
