Easter Seals
In 1923, physically disabled children in the district became a project for the club.
That same year, the first annual clinic was held, bringing a doctor, and later doctors
and specialists, from Toronto. From 1949 to present, the club assisted the Easter Seal Society as their service club partner, working on the Easter Seal campaign, and organizing fundraising events on their behalf which include Snowarama and The Easter Seal Telethon.
Children's Rehabilitation Centre - Algoma
The club sponsored the creation of a treatment centre for handicapped children in 1952 in the King George Public School. The centre has gone through many changes, but the club has continued to support its program throughout the years.

The club has sponsored 18 consecutive regional fairs since 1988.
Sports Awards Dinner
Started as a sports celebrity dinner in 1956, the club hosts an annual sports awards dinner which honours our local athletes, highlighted by the presentation of the H.P. Broughton Memorial Trophy.
Membership
Rotary club members are part of a diverse group of professional leaders working to address various community and international service needs. Through community service and other means, Rotary club members help promote peace and understanding throughout the world. Our members are our most important asset. They are the force that allows Rotary to carry out its many humanitarian efforts and achieve its mission.
